The delivery of a Support for Small Schools Conference

Focus: The planning and delivery of a Day Conference to occur in April 2001 which examines innovative approaches to collaborative working arrangements between small schools. The Conference will target Headteachers and will consider the burdens they face managing and teaching in a small school. Solutions based upon pilot projects which demonstrate successful innovation, collaboration and clustering will be sought. Feedback will also be received from the activities detained within this pack

  • Understanding of the issues, the various solutions, the process for using SFG33
  • High attendance level
  • Conference evaluation forms indicating satisfaction with the above

  • C£2.5K depending on level of attendance, quality of venue, fees etc

  • Feedback from pilot projects will inform future practice
