The early years philosophy underpinning the
Bristol Standard Foundation Stage curriculum
is in line with North Cerney’s ethos which
is that learning should be carefully planned
and structured, with an emphasis on activities
that are fun, relevant to and motivating for,
each child. This recently achieved accreditation
formally recognises that the school is delivering
the Foundation Stage curriculum in a way that
supports children’s learning through planned
and spontaneous activities.
This is a significant achievement by a small
school ; congratulations to the head teacher
and Foundation Stage staff.
