Sherborne C of E Primary School's Auction of Harvest Produce in aid of Winston's Wish

Recently the year 6 pupils at Sherborne Primary set up and ran a very successful auction of Harvest Produce. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed acting as auctioneers and managed to raise a fantastic £353 for the charity Winston's Wish. The auction was held on the final day of last term and drew in a tremendous audience of parents and people from the local community. All the produce was donated by parents and was beautifully displayed in hampers and wicker baskets. This was a wonderful afternoon that will be remembered by all. The school is very grateful to all the parents for their help and donations which enabled the auction to take place and to be such a success.
